ELIZABETH MUTO AND ANA MARIE MORMANDO FROM EPICUREAN CHARITABLE FOUNDATION NAMED AMONG VEGAS INC'S "WOMEN TO WATCH"

 

Elizabeth Muto, the Executive Director, and Ana Maria Mormando, a member of the Board of Directors, were selected among the 2012 “Women to Watch” by Vegas Inc.
The weekly business publication selected just 14 women for the prestigious honor. 

 

EPICUREAN CHARITABLE FOUNDATION LAS VEGAS SELECTS SCOTT FARBER AS NEW PRESIDENT

The Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Epicurean Charitable Foundation of Las Vegas (ECF) have named Scott Farber, Director of Operations for Emeril Lagasse’s four Las Vegas restaurants, as the new President in 2012. 

 

“I am honored to accept the position as new President of the Epicurean Charitable Foundation of Las Vegas,” said Scott Farber, President of ECF. “I will work to continue the mission of the organization and bring prosperity and success to the students, board members and donors.” 

 

As the new leader of ECF, Farber will continue to flourish and align the hospitality industry’s affiliation with the community through support of the local education system, related organizations, charities and associations for the Las Vegas-based non-profit organization. With more than 20 years in the restaurant business, Farber’s passion and life-long devotion to the industry shines through his hard work. As Director of Operations for Emeril Lagasse, Farber oversees Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House, Delmonico Steakhouse, Table 10 and Lagasse’s Stadium. Upon graduating from Louisiana State University in 1986, Farber landed an assistant position with Emeril Lagasse and has worked to become a leader within the company.

 

EPICUREAN CHARITABLE FOUNDATION PREPARES TO ANNOUNCE 2012/2013 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

The Epicurean Charitable Foundation of Las Vegas (ECF) has completed its search for the scholarship recipients of its 2012/2013 class. Up to 10 high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in the culinary or hospitality industry will be announced this spring. 
ECF currently has more than 20 scholarship recipients in the program attending the schools of their dreams, from the Culinary Institute of America in New York to the world renowned William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. More than a million dollars in scholarship funds have been awarded to deserving students since its inception.
